Rabia is a therapist and energy healer who brings an eclectic and holistic approach to her practice.
She likes to incorporate a wide array of therapy models and add chakra healing and mindfulness therapeutic techniques when she works with her clients. She offers her clients a non-judgmental, respectful, nurturing, and safe environment to explore their lives and their innermost selves.
Her main goal is that her clients feel encouraged to heal, grow, and transform so they can have the quality of life they truly deserve.

The Goal
Rabia has been running her private practice for many years but never really put her website as a priority in her business. Her website allowed her to have her info online and a way for people to find her. What it didn't do is show off Rabia's unique personality, warmth, and variety of therapeutic techniques.
She was ready to get a new website that worked for her and truly represented her and Dharma Wellness.
She wanted her new website to attract more clients.
Website Goals
- Modernize and customize her website to make it feel more current and show more of her personality.
- Authentically show her "eclectic" approach to therapy to attract the right clients for her.
- Ability to easily create blog posts and publish them herself.
The Before
Rabia had neglected her site for a very long time and didn't know how to make the changes herself.
The Design
Brand
The Original Turquoise
Her website only used that turquoise blue that Rabia wanted to keep. Since she started a podcast — I Am Dharma Talk — I thought that bright color could work better in a podcast setting. While the turquoise is the main color for Rabia's podcast, it's a secondary color in her practice's website to make a connection between Dharma Wellness and I Am Dharma Talk.
The Office Decoration
Rabia has a consistent color theme in her office. So I wanted to bring some of those vibes into the design of the website to show more of her personality.
The Lotus
Rabia already had her logo from several years before. She wanted to keep the lotus flower, but I updated the font used in her logo to look more sophisticated.
Colors
Stock Photography
Because of her logo, we decided to keep all the images lotus-related. This way each page had a lotus image that best described what the information was about. For example, in "family therapy" the image is a group of lotus flowers versus "individual counseling" only has a single lotus.
