Cocoa Yoga Cafe
Yoga Studio and Cafe
Whitney needed a website before their grand opening in North Port, Florida.
Her vision is to have a one-stop shop for yogis — a place where people can move and nourish their bodies while building a community. By having a place — the cafe and juice bar —to hang out before and after class, people can make friendships inside of Cocoa Yoga Cafe. She calls it a "three-fold quilt of all her favorite things".
“Before working with Nicole, I was tired of wasting my time trying to make my website work.
Now I am absolutely delighted with my website! I receive compliments on my website almost daily.
I got so much more than I was looking for or could have even imagined. What a blessing!”

The Goals
Before working with me, Whitney was frustrated after trying to work with another designer — they created a generic-looking website that didn't even have her brand colors. She never made that website live.
Whitney was ready to work with a professional designer who understood her vision for her business.
Because she tried doing it all by herself, she was done trying to figure the tech behind her website.
She was overwhelmed keeping track of everything that needs to be done when starting a business and wanted to delegate her website to someone who can get it done properly.
Website Goals
- Create a central location for people to sign up for classes
- Have information and updates on the building of the studio
- Ability to add food ordering after the studio is up and running
The Before
Her branding — logo and colors — were already designed when we started working together, so I used those as a starting point for the website.
She also had completed a brand photoshoot, which became super helpful when creating the website. All images used are owned by her and are completely personal to her brand, adding more personality to the website as well.
The Design
Website
I chose the wave element to give the website a feeling of being in flow while also representing Cocoa Yoga Cafe's location, which is by the ocean. It works even better since the brand colors are blue, making the look very cohesive.
Together we choose 3 main access points for classes:
- Online scheduling for in-person events
- Livestream classes
- Video library for on-demand classes
Options to add later on
- Menu and online ordering
- Teacher and instructors page
The Results
Because of Covid restrictions, the build out of Cocoa Yoga Cafe has been postponed, but Whitney is still teaching classes online and in different locations around North Port. She's:
Happy about her website — no more overwhelm and no worries about her website anymore.
Focused on finishing her build out, hiring new teachers, and teaching new classes and workshop so she can grow Cocoa Yoga Cafe in person.
Thrilled about telling people about her website and is proud of her business.
“I feel absolutely spoiled, loved, and blessed to have the pleasure of working alongside Nicole.
I learn from her each time we speak and I'm comforted knowing that each of my needs can be met and even surpassed by simply having a conversation with her.”
